Job summary

Sonic Healthcare USA, Inc in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Business Analyst – AP LIS Implementation to lead complex Anatomic Pathology LIS projects, including requirements analysis, testing coordination, cutover readiness, go-live support, and post-implementation stabilization across accessioning, histology, cytology, and digital pathology workflows.

The role coordinates across clinical and IT teams, provides escalation support for migration issues, and ensures compliance with change control

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
• Experience in a medical laboratory with understanding of clinical and anatomical pathology terminology.
• Excellent problem solver with a focus on team success.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to work cross-functionally across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage complex implementation tasks and readiness.
• Act as an advanced implementation resource for workflow and application issues during project and hypercare phases.
• Coordinate across operational and technical teams to ensure milestones and dependencies are addressed.
• Provide informal coaching to Systems Analyst I and II team members.
