Job summary

Nordic is seeking a Senior Consultant - LIS to deliver Lab Information System consulting across client engagements. You will guide workflows, upgrades, and maintenance while acting as a solution expert and mentor to client teams.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, testing, documentation, and interoperability assessments with LIS platforms such as SCC Soft, Sunquest, WellSky, Orchard, and Apex. Travel up to 100% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent healthcare and technical experience required.
• 3+ years of hands-on build and implementation experience within at least one LIS solution (SCC Soft, Sunquest, WellSky, Orchard, Apex, etc.).
• Experience with domain validation, package testing, and design/build/testing system changes.
• Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Highly organized and able to multitask with focused attention to tasks.
• Self-starter with ability to meet deadlines and manage own work.
• Aptitude for mentoring and guiding others.

Responsibilities

• Applying technical expertise to client system builds to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve problems.
• Serving as a subject matter expert in LIS domain areas.
• Mentoring client project teams in project and system build strategy.
• Tracking and documenting work and adhering to status reporting expectations.
• Working with project leadership on documentation of issues and solutions.
• Leading meetings regarding project status and ongoing work product coordination.
• Supporting, configuring, upgrading, and maintaining LIS applications.
• Engaging in evaluation and testing of new technologies with interoperability focus.
• Collaborating with client IT teams and vendors to resolve issues.
