Job summary

Prattwhitney is looking for an IT Systems Administrator in El Segundo, CA, to provide IT systems administration in an environment utilizing Microsoft Windows and RedHat Enterprise Linux. The role involves supporting 24x7 operations and collaborating with multiple teams.

The ideal candidate will have a university degree or equivalent experience, at least 5 years of relevant work, and must possess an active Top Secret security clearance. Benefits include a competitive salary range and flexible work schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree with minimum 3 years experience.
• Must obtain DoDD 8140 / 8570 certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) within 6 months.
• Active and transferable Top Secret security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous environment.
• Support 24x7 operations and collaborate with cross-team stakeholders.
• Manage ESXi, vCenter, and Microsoft Windows domains.
• Install and configure software applications for end users.
