Job summary

RTX in Woburn, MA seeks a Senior System Integration & Test Engineer for Surface Radars & Sensors Center. You will plan, execute, and document system integration and test activities for a radar program in a lab environment.

You will perform hands-on testing and integration of hardware and software, with emphasis on Linux. Expect collaboration across teams, development of test plans, and supporting test readiness reviews.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in system integration and test.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, shell scripting, Linux and/or Unix.
• Experience with hardware and/or software testing in an engineering lab environment.
• Experience with networking principles.
• Experience with systems integration, test procedures, test plans, test scripts, data analysis, and/or verification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, executing, and documenting system integration and test activities for a radar program in a laboratory environment.
• Perform hands‑on testing and integration of hardware and software, focusing on systems running Linux.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system‑level issues related to software, hardware, and operating systems.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to identify and address technical challenges.
• Develop and execute detailed test plans, procedures, and reports in accordance with program requirements.
• Support system‑level test readiness reviews, test execution, and post‑test analysis.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and program‑specific processes.
• Willingness to support 5‑10% domestic travel.
