Job summary

Clockhash Technologies is seeking a Senior Support Specialist / Linux Systems Engineer to own and resolve high-impact issues on hosted environments. You will troubleshoot, manage production servers, and deploy new infrastructure with autonomy, collaborating remotely via Slack.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in hosting or Linux system administration.
• Strong Linux CLI/SSH experience.
• Solid knowledge of Apache, DNS, FTP and Linux firewalls.
• Experience with DirectAdmin, Plesk and/or cPanel.
• Proven web hosting industry experience is required.
• Experience managing production servers independently.
• Comfortable handling escalations and complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex and escalated support tickets.
• Troubleshoot Linux-based hosting environments.
• Manage and maintain managed servers for customers.
• Perform server updates, upgrades, and deployments.
• Work with Linux, DNS, Exim mail, and web server configurations.
• Support and improve hosting platform and internal infra.
• Identify recurring issues and propose structural improvements.
• Communicate with customers via tickets and messaging tools.
• Collaborate remotely with the team using Slack.
