Job summary

Tech Mahindra is seeking a Linux Systems Engineer to maintain and extend mission-critical Linux environments, with emphasis on storage, clustering, and automation. The role focuses on RHEL-based systems, high availability, and scalable infrastructure.

Responsibilities include configuring storage, HA clusters, and scripting for automation. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and hands-on experience with enterprise storage, Linux diagnostics, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and valid passport required.
• Bachelor’s degree and higher acceptable as minimum entry.
• Hands-on Linux system administration with RHEL.
• Experience with enterprise storage solutions and file system management.
• Proficiency in clustering technologies and high availability systems.
• Strong scripting skills in Ansible, Bash, and Python.
• Excellent problem-solving and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Administer and expand XFS and EXT4 file systems.
• Manage Unity, PowerFlex, and NFS/CIFS storage; ensure HA and performance.
• Configure Oracle RAC clusters; implement Pacemaker solutions.
• Troubleshoot OS logs; monitor system health with OS Watcher and SOS Reports.
• Develop automation scripts using Ansible, Bash, and Python.
