Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a senior System Administrator to manage Linux-based infrastructure and container environments. You will leverage Kubernetes and automation tools to deliver secure, high-performance systems for mission-critical networks.

You will mentor teammates, translate complex requirements for clients, and contribute to CI/CD and automation initiatives while maintaining security and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Linux administration experience.
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
• Experience with containers such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Podman.
• Experience with SELinux and policy hardening, IdM, LDAP, and managing secrets/certificates.
• Knowledge of IT networking and security concepts.
• Ability to translate complex technical requirements into client solutions.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph and DoD 8140 certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize infrastructure and containerized environments.
• Ensure architecture, security, and performance of systems.
• Provide clients insight into their network through monitoring and metrics.
• Identify improvement opportunities in a mission-critical network.
• Mentor team and share expertise on automation, cluster/workload management, and CI/CD.
