Leidos in Virginia is seeking an experienced Linux Systems Engineer to support a mission-critical identity and access management system. You will perform lifecycle systems engineering for development and operations teams, and apply your technical and functional expertise to propose customer-focused solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline plus 4-6 years of professional experience.
• Proactive self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Two or more years of experience with Amazon Web Services (S3 Buckets, EC2, Reserved Instances, etc.).
• Experience troubleshooting network-related issues (OSI model levels 4-7).
• Familiar with Systems Engineering documentation creation (network diagrams, data flows, etc.).
• Experience with Agile Team Collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket.

Responsabilités

• Provide Tier II support to resolve customer-facing issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Act as SME to review metrics, system health, and performance.
• Develop scripts and use playbook-based automation for tasks.
• Manage COTS and GOTS software across environments.
• Ensure compliance with security services and applications.
• Interface with customers and outside teams to diagnose access issues.
