Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Linux Systems Operations and Administrator to lead data-center Linux networking feature development, ensure performance, and drive reliability across global sites. You will team with engineering, IT, and facilities to maintain runbooks, asset records, and operational processes.

The role requires a strong Linux background, data-center networking expertise, and scripting with Python/Bash; experience with virtualization and AI tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in the technology industry with data-center networking exposure.
• Solid Linux host administration capabilities and familiarity with server hardware, storage, and network virtualization.
• Ability to automate Linux tasks using Python and Bash, plus generative AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Provision, configure, and maintain data-center Linux networking systems (servers, switches, virtualization, remote-management).
• Diagnose and resolve system-level issues across hardware, firmware, OS, software, and containers.
• Monitor infrastructure health, capacity, and performance; coordinate upgrades to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with engineering, IT, facilities, and network teams; maintain runbooks, asset records, and cabling documentation.
