What You Will Be Responsible For

• Configure, maintain, and optimize Linux-based systems
• Develop and maintain Shell scripts for automation and operational efficiency
• Manage storage systems, including NetApp, Ceph, and ZFS
• Implement and maintain system automation tools for provisioning and configuration management
• Deploy and monitor system performance and health using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, and Prometheus
• Administer resource scheduling software for workload management
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, ensuring high availability and performance
• Apply networking and security best practices, including firewall configurations and access controls
• Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides

How You Will Stand Out

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in Linux system administration (CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat), with expertise in system tuning and performance optimization
• Proficient in scripting (Shell, with Python or Perl as a plus) and automation tools (Ansible, PXE, Kickstart)
• Experienced in storage management (NetApp, Ceph, ZFS) and system monitoring (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus)
• Knowledgeable in resource scheduling (Openlava, Slurm) and networking/security best practices (RHCE/CCNA preferred)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with an innovative mindset to drive system improvements
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to perform under pressure
