Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Linux Systems Administrator to support mission-critical ST&I systems at ONI in Suitland, MD. The role provides advanced Linux, cybersecurity, and enterprise infrastructure support in a classified environment.

Responsibilities include Linux server administration, system monitoring, vulnerability remediation, and collaboration across engineering, cyber, and operations teams. Active TS/SCI clearance and DoD 8570 IAT Level III cert are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s with required years of experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance (in DISS).
• Active DoD 8570 IAT Level III cert (or able within 30 days).
• Red Hat certification (RHCA preferred) or able within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize Linux server environments (RHEL & RPM-based).
• Monitor systems, patching, STIG hardening, performance tuning.
• Implement IAVA/IAVB and remediation.
• Support VMware, storage, automation tools, and clusters.
• Maintain HBSS, ACAS, Trellix, and other security tools.
• Manage firewall rules, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection.
• Troubleshoot NetApp storage systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
