L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Specialist, System Administrator in Rochester, NY. You will maintain Linux systems, manage NetApp storage, and support engineering software tools within secure programs.

The role requires clear communication with management and security teams and potential local project leadership. Responsibilities include system updates, scripting for deployment automation, and collaboration with engineering to deliver tailored solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience with minimum 6 years in related fields.
• Four years of Linux and/or NetApp systems administration experience.
• Current/active TS/SCI security clearance and CI Polygraph required.
• CompTIA Security+ or CISSP or DoD 8570 IAT level I or higher certification.
• Overtime may be required and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Linux systems for secure programs.
• Install, configure, patch, and maintain Linux and NetApp storage units.
• Lead IT projects at the local level and communicate with management and security teams.
• Develop and maintain deployment automation scripts and tools.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to meet program requirements.
• Communicate complex technical issues clearly to stakeholders.
