Job summary

Columbia Technology Partners, Inc. is seeking a System Administrator 3 to support mission-critical Linux-based infrastructure in a highly technical environment.

The role emphasizes Red Hat Enterprise Linux, automation with Ansible, and cloud security across AWS deployments. The ideal candidate will have DoD 8570 IAM Level II certification and extensive experience with vulnerability management, SOA environments, and complex system integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 15+ years SA experience (or 20 years without degree).
• Extensive Linux administration experience, especially Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Hands-on Ansible automation, AWS, and Tenable Nessus proficiency; DoD 8570 IAT II cert.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and optimize Linux-based server environments (Red Hat).
• Develop, implement, and maintain infrastructure automation using Ansible.
• Support AWS cloud environments and ensure system performance, availability, and security.
• Perform vulnerability management using Tenable Nessus and support remediation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and integration issues.
• Ensure systems meet security standards, including DoD 8570 IAM Level II requirements.
• Support SOA environments and understand system interdependencies across platforms.
• Participate in shift work and weekend coverage as required.
