Job summary

Dexian is seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator with deep Linux expertise (Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8/9) to support a federal program on-site in Atlanta. The role emphasizes design, deployment, automation, and secure operations.

You will build automation with Bash, Python, Ansible, and RHEL Satellite; manage networks, containers, cloud environments, and GitLab. Mentoring teammates and ensuring CIS/NIST/DISA compliance are key aspects of the position.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of Linux/UNIX system administration experience.
• RHCSA, RHCE, or RHCA certification.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (BASH, Perl, Python or JavaScript).
• Experience with automation tools like Ansible.
• Familiarity with container runtimes (formerly Docker) and GitLab.
• Knowledge of CIS, NIST SP 800-53, DISA STIGs security hardening.
• Ability to design, deploy, and maintain Linux server environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server environments (v8/v9).
• Develop and maintain automation scripts (BASH, Perl, Python, or JavaScript).
• Perform CLI-based administration and operations.
• Automate tasks using Ansible and RHEL Satellite.
• Manage package deployment across multiple environments.
• Configure network services (NFTables, Firewalld, IPTables, DNS, Postfix).
• Administer NFS, PXE, and SELinux configurations.
• Support container runtimes, cloud platforms, and GitLab.
• Document system architecture and processes.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity and performance.
• Ensure compliance with CIS/NIST/DISA security standards.
