Job summary
Halogen Engineering Group is seeking a System Administrator – Linux with 15+ years of experience, TS/SCI w/ Poly required, based in Aurora, CO. The role involves support for IT systems, troubleshooting, maintenance, and escalation as needed.
Onsite work with day shift; travel not required. Salary range is 202K–214K USD annually, determined by location, education, and experience; comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401K are provided by Halogen.
Qualifications
- Fifteen (15) years of SA experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for the installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
- Provide Tier I (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution.
- Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems.
- Assist users in accessing and using IT systems.
- Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remain involved in the resolution process.
- Communicate status to agency management and internal customers.
