Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a Senior System Administrator to design, deploy, and maintain cross-domain solutions within a DoD-focused enterprise. You will improve infrastructure, ensure security controls, and maintain system availability while mentoring teammates.

You’ll use IaC tools (Salt, Ansible, Terraform) and manage Red Hat/Rocky Linux with Proxmox, Git, and related tech; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required, along with DoD 8570.1 IAT II readiness within 60 days.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux or Rocky.
• 3+ years of experience with Proxmox.
• Experience with Git.
• Experience managing systems using Infrastructure-as-Code (Salt/Ansible/Puppet/Terraform).
• Knowledge of Linux firewalls, RPMs, networking configuration, and DNS.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or IT and 5+ years of related experience, or 10+ years without degree.
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Compliant Certification within 60 days of start date.
