Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a System Administrator to design, deploy, and maintain Cross Domain Solutions for a DoD-focused enterprise. You will work on Linux systems, improve security, reliability, and performance, and mentor the team.

Candidates will have RH or CentOS, Git, VMware ESXi, networking and DNS knowledge, and TS/SCI with polygraph. DoD 8570.1 IAT II certification within 60 days is expected; AWS and IaC/tools are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux or CentOS.
• Experience with Git.
• Experience managing virtual machines and VMware ESXi.
• Knowledge of Linux firewalls, Linux RPMs, networking configuration, and DNS.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• HS diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Certification within 60 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Cross Domain Solutions for an enterprise environment.
• Improve platform security, stability, and reliability, and ensure security controls compliance.
• Identify opportunities for performance improvements and modernize the network.
• Provide monitoring insights and transform metrics into actionable information for customers.
• Lead and mentor the team to develop new methodologies and best practices.
