Job summary
MAXISIQ is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer focused on Linux-based systems and Splunk, with strong Windows Server experience, to support operations in Quantico, VA. A Top Secret clearance with CI Poly is required after hire.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Or equivalent experience)
- 6+ years related experience
- Top Secret with CI Poly requirement after hire
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server OS and virtualization technologies
- Experience with Windows Group Policy Objectives (GPOs) and Windows Domain structures
- Experience administering Linux in an enterprise
Responsibilities
- Provide enterprise virtualized environment support with Windows and Linux workstations and server-based services
- Maintain Splunk with Enterprise Security, dashboards and data inputs
- Provide Active Directory/LDAP, DNS, Certificate Authority, Smart Card/PIV, SSO, and other enterprise services
- Contribute to project decisions regarding system requirements, design, testing and delivery
- Communicate status and recommendations to program stakeholders
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across deployed systems
- Plan and design enhancements for existing and new systems
- Support patch management and backups across deployed systems
- Develop and test disaster recovery plans
- Mentor junior staff to diagnose and resolve complex problems
