Job summary

MAXISIQ seeks a Senior Systems Engineer with a strong focus on Linux-based systems and Splunk to support operations in Quantico, VA. Candidates with a Top-Secret clearance and CI poly are preferred, with CI poly required after hire.

Responsibilities include enterprise system support, AD/LDAP, DNS, and disaster recovery planning, along with collaboration on design, testing, and delivery activities. 6+ years of related experience expected.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of related engineering experience.
• Hands-on Windows Server and virtualization: VMware, Proxmox, KVM, Xen.
• Experience with Windows GPOs and Domain structures.
• Enterprise Linux administration and DISA STIG experience.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide enterprise virtualization environment support and maintain Windows/Linux workstations and servers.
• Maintain Splunk and Enterprise Security, validate inputs and dashboards.
• Implement and manage Active Directory/LDAP, DNS, Certificate Authority, and SSO services.
• Contribute to design, testing, and delivery activities with stakeholders.
• Plan and implement disaster recovery and patch management.
• Mentor junior staff and support program leadership.
