Job summary

ManTech in Chantilly, VA seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to deliver Tier III Linux/RHEL system support onsite for customer environments. The role emphasizes reliable, secure infrastructure, project leadership, and SOP development.

You will work with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, upgrades, and ITIL processes while contributing to incident resolution and change management. A current Top Secret clearance or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of Linux/RHEL exp. or equivalent
• CLI experience in Linux/RHEL server environments
• Experience with Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier III IT Systems support for Linux/RHEL server environments
• Install, configure, maintain, and optimize Linux/RHEL environments
• Diagnose and resolve performance, security, and technical challenges
• Monitor performance, capacity, and backups; perform test restores and updates
• Lead development and documentation of system processes; train team members
• Write SOPs for repeatable tasks
• Participate in ITIL lifecycle processes including Change Requests
• Contribute to planning and lead Linux/RHEL engineering projects
