Job summary

Referment is hiring a Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer to join its Platform Engineering team. This hands-on role focuses on Linux systems, networks, security controls, and core services across data centres and cloud environments in a global setting.

You will design, integrate and maintain operating-system and infrastructure services, contributing to a secure, scalable production platform and collaborating with colleagues across locations.

Qualifications

• Ten years of infrastructure engineering experience, including Python development.
• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and configuration-management tooling.
• Excellent host- and network-level troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with automated builds and CI/CD systems.
• Clear communication and collaboration across disciplines and locations.

Responsibilities

• Design, integrate and maintain Linux-based OS and infrastructure services.
• Contribute to global networks, core network services and security infrastructure across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Improve the security framework of a large-scale production platform.
• Diagnose complex host and network issues using tracing and diagnostic tools.
• Collaborate with a global engineering team and partner departments.
