Job summary

Meso Scale Diagnostics, LLC. seeks a Principal Linux Engineer to serve as the senior technical authority for the enterprise Linux platform. You will own design, build standards, hardening, and day-to-day reliability of the Linux server estate, including Debian-based embedded OS in company products.

You will lead triage, RCAs, and 24x7x365 operations across multiple teams. You will define configuration management, deployment pipelines, and image provisioning with Raspberry Pi devices for field

Qualifications

• Minimum ten years of progressive Linux systems administration/engineering experience in production data centers.
• Experience building, hardening, and supporting embedded or appliance Linux OS in products.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead and final escalation point for Linux support.
• Own architecture, build standards, and lifecycle of the Linux estate (RHEL and derivatives).
• Define and enforce configuration management and infrastructure-as-code practices (Ansible, Terraform, Git, CI/CD).
• Provide engineering and support ownership for Debian Linux OS shipped with products.
