Job summary

Navstar Inc in Maryland is seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to support mission-critical Linux environments, perform STIG alignment, and manage AD integration within a secure network. The role requires on-call availability and the ability to work independently or with teams across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph within last 6 years.
• 5+ years of IT customer service experience.
• 5+ years on IT/software programs with complex equipment/systems.
• Experience installing, updating, and upgrading Linux OS.

Responsibilities

• Monitor infrastructure systems, applications, and processes; identify, track, and resolve issues.
• Respond to IT Help Desk calls and emails; escalate as needed and follow up.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues including network connectivity.
• Use enterprise monitoring to identify alarms across environments.
• Document IT processes and provide status updates to teams and users.
