Itero Group is seeking a Senior Linux & Network Engineer to own and resolve production incidents across enterprise Linux systems and IP networks. You will troubleshoot highly available infrastructure, coordinate with customers and providers, and drive root-cause analysis with automation to prevent recurrence.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of hands-on experience in production Linux environments, strong networking skills (OSPF/BGP, VLANs, firewalls), and practical knowledge of Pacemaker/Corosync

Competenze

• 5+ years of hands-on Linux and IP network support in production.
• Experience with highly available clustering (Pacemaker/Corosync, Galera).
• Ability to troubleshoot across OS, network, database, and applications.

Mansioni

• Act as primary technical contact during production incidents, owning the investigation through restoration.
• Troubleshoot Linux systems, IP networks, firewalls, clusters, virtualization, and connectivity across the service environment.
• Diagnose problems using command-line tools, logs, monitoring data, routing information, and packet captures (tcpdump/Wireshark).
• Troubleshoot routing, switching, firewall, VPN, TCP/UDP, latency, and performance issues impacting services.
• Coordinate internal teams, customers, providers, and third parties while owning the incident.
• Design, deploy, patch, harden, monitor, and improve Linux, network, clustering, and cloud infrastructure.
• Develop Bash/Python automation to improve operations and troubleshooting.
