We are seeking an engineer to support and maintain a distributed infrastructure environment.

This position requires a strong background in networking, Linux administration, as well as hands-on experience with server hardware operations and troubleshooting in a multi-vendor environment.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across servers, networking gear, and virtualized systems to ensure stability and performance at scale.

This role involves administering and troubleshooting Linux systems, managing server hardware, configuring networking components, and supporting routing and switching operations.

Responsibilities

• Configure and troubleshoot networking components, including Juniper, Arista, Cisco devices.
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux systems (strong expertise required).
• Support routing and switching with a focus on switching and large-scale network operations.
• Engage in on‑call rotation for incident response and escalations.
• Perform hands‑on configuration and maintenance of servers and network devices.
• Support distributed and virtualized infrastructure, identifying and resolving performance or connectivity issues.
• Document procedures, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate hardware replacements as needed.

Required Skills

• Solid knowledge of routing, switching, and network operations.

Preferred Skills

• Scripting or automation (Python, Bash, or similar).
• Exposure to telemetry and monitoring systems.
