Job summary

All Capital Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Linux-focused DevOps engineer to manage VMs across OpenStack, AWS and VMware, emphasizing security, reliability, and automation.

You will maintain Ansible playbooks, monitor Kubernetes clusters via Rancher or kubectl, and perform patching, hardening, and certificate lifecycle management.

The role requires strong Linux (RHEL 8/9), experience with Kubernetes, Docker, OpenStack, and security standards like STIG/SSP, plus hands-on problem solving.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience managing Linux VMs (RHEL 8/9).
• Proficient with Kubernetes, Docker, and Rancher for containerized workloads.
• Familiar with OpenStack, VMware or AWS cloud platforms.
• Experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management.
• Knowledge of security hardening (STIG/SSP) and compliance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage Linux VMs across OpenStack, VMware, and AWS platforms.
• Monitor VM health, apply software updates via YUM, and enforce security standards.
• Maintain Ansible playbooks to automate changes and deployments.
• Administer Kubernetes clusters using Rancher or kubectl; ensure health of nodes and pods.
• Troubleshoot VM, container, and application issues; analyze logs and performance.
• Support Apache NiFi deployments and resolve connectivity or resource issues.
• Oversee certificate lifecycle and PKI to meet security requirements.
• Collaborate with development teams to provide operational support and tooling.
