Job summary

Themis Insight is hiring an Application Engineer 4 (Linux/DevOps) to work in Laurel, MD. This role focuses on Linux VM management, Kubernetes clusters, Ansible automation, and secure DevOps practices across OpenStack, VMware and AWS.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
• Extensive Linux and VM management experience across multiple hosting platforms.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Rancher for containerized workloads.
• Proficiency in security hardening (STIG/SSP) and compliance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage Linux VMs and Kubernetes clusters across OpenStack, VMware, and AWS.
• Maintain Ansible playbooks and monitor cluster health with Rancher/Kubernetes commands.
• Perform certificate lifecycle management and system hardening.
• Troubleshoot VM and container issues and support deployments.
