Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer focused on Linux kernel security to strengthen the security posture of our AI infrastructure. You will harden the kernel, triage CVEs, and backport fixes across release paths while maintaining high performance for our cloud workloads.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with hardware, hypervisor, and OS teams, and drive secure coding practices across the stack to protect our customers' AI workloads.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of Linux kernel internals and security.
• Experience with CVE remediation and kernel hardening.
• Secure coding practices and code review discipline.

Responsibilities

• Hardening the Linux kernel and OS components for high-assurance systems.
• Triage CVEs, assess severity, and backport fixes.
• Lead security reviews and develop secure development guidelines.
• Audit and improve kernel security tooling and fuzzing coverage.
• Support incident response and post-incident analysis.
