Job summary

FinOps Weekly, a high-growth tech firm in the Center district, seeks an Linux & Infrastructure IT Engineer to own reliability, performance, and automation of a large-scale computing platform. You will manage a hybrid cloud setup optimized for compute-intensive workloads and architect production environments with Terraform and Ansible.

Responsibilities include developing self-service automation in Python and Bash and operating HPC/Grid scheduling pipelines to support design and verification

Qualifications

• 5 years of professional experience operating large-scale Linux infrastructure.
• Proven experience managing AWS production environments at scale.
• Expert-level Terraform, Ansible, Python, and Bash.
• Deep understanding of Networking, Storage, and Linux internals.
• Hands-on experience supporting HPC workloads.
• Familiarity with Azure or GCP is a significant advantage.
• Experience with Cloud Cost Optimization / FinOps is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of reliability, performance, and automation of a large-scale engineering platform.
• Manage and scale hybrid cloud infrastructure for compute-intensive workloads.
• Architect and maintain production environments using Terraform and Ansible.
• Develop self-service automation tools in Python and Bash.
• Operate and optimize HPC/Grid scheduling for simulations.
