Qualifications

• 5+ years of Linux/Unix production experience.
• 5+ years in a mission-critical technical production support role.
• Experience with Ansible for configuration management.
• Proficient in Bash and Python scripting.
• Strong IT security knowledge.
• Ability to communicate tech issues to executives and vendors and generate documentation.
• Ability to prioritize tasks while managing ongoing projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support IT infrastructure including HPC, cloud, filesystems, networks, and security.
• Maintain and support Linux servers and cloud infra.
• Set up and maintain Apache, Docker, SSH, Sudo, Gitolite, uWSGI.
• Support firm network infrastructure and end-user services.
• Evaluate and test new technologies and contribute to BC/DR planning.
• Maintain portfolio management report scripts in Bash/Python.
• Liaise with admins, brokers, and vendors to ensure a stable, scalable environment.
• Manage vendor relationships and monitor technology expenditures.
