Job summary

Captivation Software is seeking a senior software engineer to design, develop, and maintain a distributed Metrics and Monitoring solution for HPC systems to ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of critical infrastructure.

You will work on Bash, Rust, and Python components, leverage Splunk for data collection, and implement IaC with Ansible, CI/CD with GitLab CI, and Git source control. U.S. citizenship and Top Secret/SCI clearance required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Nine (9) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain a distributed Metrics and Monitoring solution for HPC systems to ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of HPC infrastructure.
• Work with Linux tools and CLI to implement efficient automation and scripting.
• Collaborate with the team to support mission critical systems for national security.
