Job summary
Acquire Me seeks a Senior Linux Engineer to shape infrastructure supporting trading and development teams. You will own a substantial Linux estate, focusing on performance, reliability, and scalable deployment strategies.
The role involves deep-dive problem solving with engineers and traders, and building automation to improve consistency and scale. You will influence hardware/software choices, enhance deployment tooling, and drive projects from design through production in a fast-paced trading
Qualifications
- Extensive Linux engineering experience in large-scale, highly available server environments.
- Experience with Ansible or Puppet for configuration management.
- Automation scripting in Python or Bash.
- Diagnose Linux performance issues across CPU, memory, storage and networking.
- Experience with repeatable server provisioning, software packaging, repository management and monitoring.
- Strong networking knowledge: routing, multicast, core infrastructure services.
- Background supporting latency-sensitive workloads in a trading environment.
- Familiarity with virtualization, private cloud or container platforms.
