Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Linux Engineer with strong Debian experience to join an existing team of Linux experts. You will bring automation skills (Ansible, scripting) to streamline operations, bind engineering and automation, and support a hybrid-cloud mission infrastructure.

Responsibilities include managing Windows and Linux servers, virtualization, data center tasks, and ensuring security posture per STIGs. This role operates in a 24/7 environment and requires an active TS/SCI with Poly.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance is required.
Bachelor's Degree with 12+ years of experience or Master’s with 10+ years, or 16 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
Demonstrated Debian Linux experience.

Responsibilities

Build and operate a hybrid-cloud mission infrastructure and services.
Manage on-premises data centers and cloud resources.
Lead engineering efforts for Windows/Linux servers, storage, and virtualization.
Coordinate deployment, risk assessment, and conflict resolution for security posture.
