Job summary

Nightwing Technologies, LLC seeks a Senior Linux Administrator to design, implement, and operate a next-generation Threat Intelligence platform within a U.S. Government program. The role focuses on database integration, automation, and cloud-enabled patching across multi-cloud environments.

Responsibilities include standardizing processes across CISA IT environments, enhancing cybersecurity posture, and collaborating with government sponsors to ensure mission success. TS/SCI clearance required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Linux systems administration experience (RHEL 8/9/10 preferred).
• Experience with PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting across compute, network, and storage.
• Must be US citizen; TS/SCI clearance; ability to obtain DHS suitability.
• Experience coordinating with external vendors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Standardize processes across multiple CISA environments.
• Prioritize critical updates aligned with CISA IT cybersecurity objectives.
• Integrate automation to reduce manual effort and improve reliability.
• Engineer and maintain Linux architectures (RHEL 8/9/10, AWS Linux).
• Manage backup, recovery, and configuration documentation for system integrity.
• Engineer standardized patching across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud environments.
• Support cloud environments while contributing to enterprise-wide patching standards.
• Coordinate with ESS teams, sponsors, and tenants to ensure collaboration and transparency.
