Job summary
Nightwing Technologies, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Linux Systems Engineer to design, deploy, optimize, automate, and support large-scale Linux infrastructure. The role focuses on secure networking, VPN technologies, and scalable systems in mission-critical environments.
Candidate will work with engineering, systems administration, and platform teams to deliver trusted infrastructure, hardened configurations, and proactive maintenance across Debian/Ubuntu environments.
Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience.
- Strong Debian/Ubuntu Linux experience.
- Experience with VPNs (WireGuard, OpenVPN, IPSec) and cryptography.
- Proven networking and firewall policy skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, administer, and maintain enterprise Linux environments.
- Develop standardized OS configurations and hardened baseline builds.
- Upgrade, patch, lifecycle maintenance, and performance optimization.
- Configure and troubleshoot VPN infrastructures using OpenVPN, WireGuard, and IPSec.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and document systems.
