Job summary

Themis Insight seeks a Principal Systems Administrator (Linux) in Laurel, MD. You will lead Linux administration across OpenStack, AWS, and VMWare platforms, focusing on VM management, security, and DevOps tasks in a customer-facing environment.

Ideal candidates have extensive Linux experience, Ansible exposure, and certifications (Security+). The role requires collaboration with development teams and customers to deliver robust infrastructure solutions.

Qualifications

• Fifteen (15) years of SA experience in similar scope is required.
• Strong Linux troubleshooting skills.
• Ansible experience or exposure.
• Experience managing and securing VMs (STE/STN).
• Active Security+ certification for all infrastructure team members.

Responsibilities

• Manage server certificate life cycle and monitor VM health.
• Administer production Linux VMs and Kubernetes clusters across platforms.
• Collaborate with customers and development teams to support product needs.
• Perform DevOps tasks using Ansible and monitor clusters with Rancher or kubectl.
