Job summary

Quanta Manufacturing Fremont is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join the Systems Engineering team in Fremont, CA. You will architect, automate, and manage server infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments, ensuring reliability and security.

You will implement Linux-based infrastructures, perform upgrades, monitor performance, and troubleshoot incidents while collaborating with multiple teams to translate technical solutions for the business.

Qualifications

• 3+ years Linux administration and resource monitoring experience.
• 3+ years in systems administration with Linux focus.
• Experience with shell scripting and automation tools.
• Experience with virtualization technologies.
• Solid networking fundamentals and security awareness.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain Linux server infrastructures (physical and virtual).
• Perform system upgrades, patches, and security configurations.
• Monitor performance and reliability, optimize where needed.
• Troubleshoot incidents and ensure rapid resolution.
• Support public cloud security, compute, and storage services.
• Document configurations and procedures.
• Collaborate with business units and other tech teams.
