Job summary

Halogen Engineering Group is seeking a Software Integration Engineer with Linux/Ansible/Python expertise and a TS/SCI w/Poly clearance for secure deployments across HPC environments. You will orchestrate configuration changes, manage software updates, and act as Tier 3 escalation lead with Operations teams to diagnose issues.

The role requires deep scripting, containerization, and DevOps practice experience, with on-site work in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Qualifications

• Experience with Linux CLI and Linux tools.
• Automation with Ansible and IaC practices.
• Python development for custom Ansible modules.
• Containerization with Docker/Kubernetes and Helm charts.
• DevOps/GitOps concepts for release pipelines.
• Proficient in Git and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver secure software deployments across HPC environments.
• Coordinate configuration changes and software updates.
• Serve as Tier 3 escalation lead with Operations teams.
• Develop automated remediation to improve stability and performance.
• Create full-stack documentation for installed software.
