Job summary

Entergy Louisiana, LLC is seeking a Lineworker Helper – Sr. to support overhead and underground distribution work at our New Orleans area service center.

The role spans Helper through Sr levels, with opportunities to lead crews and handle advanced primary voltage tasks within established safety procedures. Applicants must live within 30 miles of the service area, be able to obtain a Class-A CDL, and pass required safety trainings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; willingness to learn and advance through lineworker levels.
• Physical strength and endurance for outdoor work in varied weather conditions.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and use PPE properly.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day lineworker tasks and assist higher level lineworkers.
• Read job prints, operate buckets and trucks, and follow distribution standards.
• Learn and apply safety tools; maintain organized and safe job sites.
• Support tasks across Helper to Senior Lineworker levels as assigned.
