Job summary

Entergy Louisiana, LLC seeks a Lineworker Sr. to perform advanced linework across overhead and underground distribution facilities. The role involves leading other linemen, maintaining safety standards, and interpreting distribution plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 6 months - 4 years of experience in a distribution field.
• Preferred: 2 years of direct Distribution linework experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have, and maintain, a Class-A CDL or ability to obtain one within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform lineworker tasks including safety tools and PPE.
• Read and interpret job prints and sketches with reference to distribution standards.
• Operate equipment such as Aerial Bucket, Bread Vans, and Digger Derrick Trucks.
• Perform energized primary switching tasks (up to 34,500 volts) and related activities.
• Maintain a well-organized, safe jobsite and follow mandated training.
