Job summary

NeoGenomics Laboratories is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (LIMS) in Fort Myers, FL to support the development of Laboratory Information Systems. The role involves designing and maintaining LIMS workflows, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

The ideal candidate should have 7+ years in Java development, strong backend system expertise, and experience with databases and cloud platforms. This position is fully onsite with a Monday – Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software development in a Java environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain SAPIO LIMS and LabVantage workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve LIMS production issues.
• Collaborate with QA, Lab Operations, and IT throughout the SDLC.
