Job summary

NeoGenomics is seeking a Senior Manager, Laboratory Software Engineering to lead a diverse team responsible for the design, development, delivery, and support of the Laboratory IT platforms and applications. You will guide technical direction, ensure secure, scalable solutions, and manage both onshore and offshore teams across Ramsey, NJ, Durham, NC, or Fort Myers, FL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in computer science or IT.
• 8+ years in IT with 4+ years in a leadership role; LIMS experience required.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Strong backend, RESTful APIs, and microservices expertise.
• Hands-on Java (Spring/Spring Boot) and Python (Flask/Django/FastAPI).
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Experience applying AI-assisted coding in regulated environments.
• Experience leading software implementations in healthcare environments.
• Proven ability to coach, hire, and develop teams.
• Experience with AWS/Azure cloud platforms.
