Gates Hudson is seeking a Sr Property Manager to oversee LIHTC properties in the Washington, DC area. The role involves budgeting, staff leadership, leasing, and operations to maximize occupancy and property value.

You will train the Assistant Property Manager and ensure compliance with housing laws, safety standards, and company policies, while coordinating with regional managers and property owners.

Qualifications

• Affordable experience required.
• LIHTC experience required.
• Tax Credit experience is a plus.
• Experience managing 500 units or more.
• 7+ years experience as a Property Manager or Regional Manager.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• High School degree or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Assist in budgeting and staying within approved guidelines.
• Hire, train, supervise on-site staff and conduct reviews.
• Oversee leasing, income collection and accounts receivable processes.
• Coordinate with vendors and manage maintenance and safety programs.
• Promote resident retention and handle resident relations.
• Prepare and review reports for regional management.
