Job summary

Aetwork is searching for a Senior Lighting Designer in New York City. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 3-5+ years of experience in Architectural Lighting Design. Responsibilities include managing design projects from concept through construction, performing lighting calculations, and coordinating with teams. The salary range is $68,000 – $75,000 depending on experience. This on-site role allows for hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in Architectural Lighting Design or equivalent.
• Familiarity with ASHRAE, Title 24, IES Standards, LEED or energy compliance standards is a plus.
• On-site experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Studio Leaders and Project Designers from schematic design to construction.
• Prepare drawing packages and documentation.
• Manage project timelines and team workflow.
• Perform lighting calculations and analysis.
• Attend meetings and visit job sites regularly.
