Job summary

LMI Government Consulting is seeking a seasoned Lifecycle Logistician to support CBP programs in the National Capital Region. This role can be performed remotely with up to 25% travel, and may require on-site presence in Washington, D.C. You will apply ILS principles to sustain systems, develop plans, and review logistics artifacts across acquisition and O&S phases.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in logistics or 14+ years with related degrees, and strong MS Office/Power BI skills. U.S.

Qualifications

10+ years of logistics experience or 14+ years total experience with related degree.
Experience with lifecycle logistics management for major programs.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Power BI and SharePoint.
U.S. citizenship and ability to pass a government background check.

Responsibilities

Support systems' life cycle management and sustainment activities across a portfolio of programs.
Apply Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) principles to reduce life-cycle costs.
Develop ILSPs and contribute to TEMPS, LCCE, EVMS, and PMP documents.
Review ILS deliverables for adequacy, performance, and quality.
Collect, monitor, and track deployed system performance.
Develop operational support plans and analyze data for maintenance requirements.
Advise on portfolio-level deficiencies and action plans.
Participate in PDSS initiatives and prepare sustainment reports.
Assess footprints and optimize system performance; support training programs.
