Qualifications

• Experience with brokerage distribution marketplace.
• 5+ years of life underwriting experience with large face amount cases.
• Authority up to $5,000,000 for decisions preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite complex formal and informal applications within approval guidelines.
• Assess medical and financial risk per company policies.
• Manage change, negotiate positive outcomes.
• Cross-functional view of processes and implications for other areas.
• Organize workload and handle large caseloads.
• Demonstrate underwriting expertise and training abilities.
• Provide training to internal and external customers on underwriting topics.
• Interact effectively with a sophisticated field force dealing with upscale markets.
