Job summary

Cimarron Software Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Life Support Systems (LSS) Thermal Engineer in Houston, TX. You will develop, mature, and operate thermal-fluid spaceflight hardware, owning timelines from concept to on-orbit service.

Responsibilities include defining standards, leading reviews, and building thermal models. Requires 13+ years in thermal systems, NX/Creo/SolidWorks, and aerospace experience. Onsite role with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen or permanent resident for facility access.
• Background check and drug screening will be required.
• Experience working on thermal systems in aerospace or space environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and create thermal-fluid system standards for space station hardware.
• Own design, development, integration, and verification of thermal hardware.
• Lead design reviews with suppliers and customers.
• Collaborate with Stress, avionics, and manufacturing teams for integration.
• Develop thermal models and simulations for all mission phases.
