Job summary

Crowell & Moring is seeking a professional track counsel to join our Life Sciences practice in Boston, New York, or San Francisco. This role will counsel life science companies, investment firms, academic institutions, and NGOs on discovery, development, manufacturing, and commercialisation of therapeutics, devices, and diagnostics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of life sciences transactional experience at a law firm or in-house.
• Deep experience with manufacturing licensing and supply chain agreements for therapeutics.
• Familiarity with biology and chemistry principles relevant to pharma design.
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks governing therapeutic development.
• Knowledge of IP licensing and biotechnology business development practices.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support transactions involving clinical-stage and commercial manufacturing and related licensing.
• Draft and negotiate complex agreements for biologics, gene therapies, and pharmaceutical products.
• Counsel clients on strategic goals and develop practical, documented solutions.
• Collaborate with technical operations, quality, business development, and senior leadership.
• Manage multiple matters and tight deadlines in a fast-paced client-service environment.
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers and contribute to practice knowledge sharing.
