Job summary

Crowell & Moring LLP seeks a professional track counsel to join our Life Sciences practice in Boston, New York, or San Francisco. You will counsel life science companies, investors, academic labs, and NGOs involved in therapeutics, devices, digital health, and diagnostics.

Responsibilities include leading and drafting manufacturing, licensing, and supply chain agreements; advising on regulatory and IP matters; mentoring junior lawyers and coordinating with senior management on strategic goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a sophisticated life sciences transactional practice.
• Deep experience with clinical-stage and commercial-stage manufacturing and licensing.
• Familiarity with biology and chemistry principles in pharma.
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks for therapeutic development.
• Knowledge of intellectual property licensing and biotech business development.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and project management skills.
• Strong communication with technical and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver pragmatic advice.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support transactions involving manufacturing and licensing for therapeutic products.
• Draft and negotiate agreements for biologics, gene therapies, and other pharma products.
• Counsel clients on strategic goals and develop practical solutions.
• Collaborate with technical operations, quality, and senior management.
• Manage multiple matters with tight deadlines; mentor junior lawyers.
