Job summary

BGBx is seeking a Senior Consultant to support life sciences engagements by guiding research, synthesizing findings, and preparing client-ready deliverables. You will mentor junior staff, lead portions of client meetings, and apply robust analytics to shape clinical and commercial assessments.

The role is hybrid in the US with offices in Washington, D.C., New York City, or Boston. A PhD/MD/PharmD/MBA or equivalent BA/BS with 1–3 years of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (PhD, MD, PharmD, MBA) or BA/BS/MS with 1–3 years in life sciences strategy consulting or biopharmaceutical industry.
• Ability to synthesize data and draw accurate, logical conclusions from business research and analysis.
• Experience leading workstreams and small project teams.
• Experience presenting to experts both internally and externally.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and people management skills.
• Creative, big-picture thinking with keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and coach small teams of junior consultants; support Associate Consultants in research plan execution.
• Act as a direct resource for clients by facilitating and leading portions of meetings as needed.
• Apply qualitative and quantitative analysis to distill research into actionable conclusions.
• Develop clinical and commercial assessments by identifying insights from primary/secondary sources.
• Monitor clinical, regulatory and competitive landscapes, including trials, literature, and abstracts.
• Collaborate with peers and leaders to deliver high-impact engagements.
